Summer Milkweed

Milkweed plants as they spout up in fields during the summer months provide nice leaf patterns for artwork. This plant in the fall produces the large green pods which eject the seeds from the pod giving us another opportunity for artwork.
Here is the plant in the early stages of development.

 I ran a different image through Topaz Simplify 4. I used the Oil Painting filter.

      No I got down low and shot towards a background far away while keeping the ground clutter below my line of site.

  3. I bought some for my garden this year. This is my first time growing it. I love the critters that crawl on it. Can’t wait to start seeing some butterflies.
