Mike- will a watermark hurt or help with this competition? Thanks!

  2. stgrundy says:

I’m working on some stuff to enter. Hope to put your Macro Boot Camp instructions to good use for this! https://wordpress.com/post/stgrundyblog.wordpress.com/8334

  3. Chris says:

Some contests takes the rights of the photos entered.. before I post.. I want to be sure I retain the rights.

    • Mike Moats says:

Chris if you read the post again, it says that the contest, or the sponsors, claim no right to the images submitted.

  4. Victoria Hughes says:

Is the 600 pixels the smallest they accept or requirement?

  5. Kathy Castrataro says:

Im not sure how to load pics to that email…I tried but it came back..sorry..

    • Mike Moats says:

Did you resize your image to 600 pixels on the longest side of the image. If the images file size are to large they will not send, that is why we send them at the 600 pixels on the longest side, so it make the the image size small enough to send all three images.

  6. Steven K. says:

Mike- For submitting my images I see the 600 pixels for the long side requirement – I am in Lightroom to resize and are there any issues or requirements for resolution size (pixels/inch)- thanks.

    • Mike Moats says:

No it’s really just to keep the file size small so they can be easily sent through an email.

      • Beth says:

Hi Mike – I send pictures through email a lot, but I’ve never come across the 600 pixel length. I also don’t know how to tell how many pixels there are. Is it okay to send and if they make it, they make it? Otherwise, how do I find out the pixel dimensions? Thanks.

      • Mike Moats says:

Go ahead and send them and I will resize them if I need.

  7. Just made the deadline! I really would like to win this since I’m using extension tubes now! That’s a hint, by the way. 😉

  8. Hasa says:

its a week past deadline? where are the winners

    • Mike Moats says:

It’s here on the blog posted on the day I said it would be posted. Scroll back through the posts to June 28th.
