First Day at the Macro Photo Conference

Posted: October 30, 2016 in Uncategorized
So we had a great start yesterday to the macro conference.  I started off with some info about the best equipment for macro, controlling depth of field, and finding character in nature.  Donna Eaton showed off her awesome flower images and all your techniques to producing great flower photography.  Don Komarechka amazed the attendees with his snowflake, water drops, and frozen soap bubble images and how he captures them.  In the afternoon we had a very interesting wide angle macro program presented by Rob Sheppard, and I think he inspired me to try some wide angle macro.  The amazing Tony Sweet shared his talents on post processing of his great macro images.
Today we have Tom and Lisa Cuchara presenting on non nature macro, and Kathy Adams Clark with a talk about butterfly photography.  Ken Hubbard from Tamron with talk about the variety of Tamron lenses for macro.  Rob Sheppard and Kathy Adams Clark will cover a little info on getting your images published and stock photography.
I’ll be back tomorrow to recap today’s events and share more images, gotta go get ready.
