Cool New Product for Photographers

Posted: August 8, 2016 in Uncategorized
Cool new product, check it out. Made for general photography and macro photography.
Challenge your creativity with 52 different photographic assignments.
Here’s the concept – you are in need of some creative inspiration. Maybe you just got a new camera for the holidays or birthday . . . or are simply looking for new things to shoot . . . You grab your deck of LightBox Photography Cards, give them a shuffle and pick a card.
The face of each card will showcase a different photographic challenge. Under each challenge is a small write-up to better define the assignment. The cards are also numbered for easy reference. There are icons to consider as well – these are highlighted in orange when certain gear, like a tripod, flash or filters are recommended.
The image found on the face of each card is Paul’s own challenge solution with some camera settings that factor into the creation of that particular image.
Each card offers up a different challenge, some designed to be simple and easy to accomplish, while others will push your creativity and ingenuity to new heights. How long you spend on the assignment is up to you.

Love these cards…I ordered a set way back when it was a Kickstarter idea! Then, went on to get the macro set, too. Now there’s a digital photography set of cards as well. He’s a genius at marketing! 🙂

  3. Thanks for the tip. I just ordered mine! Just in time, too. I’ve got “photographer’s block”! LOL!

I really like the card idea. I went to the link provided and see there’s a set of Macro Cards in the bundle. I tried searching the site for more info on them but came up empty. Do you know how I can see more about them? Also…you mention free shipping. Does that apply for a $10 order? Also, I live in Canada. I’d really appreciate a response to these questions. The cards are an intriguing concept.

Go back to my blog post and near the bottom, look for the red colored words that say LightBox Photography Cards. Click on the link and it will take you to Hunt’s where it is on sale. You would have to contact them about the free shipping to Canada, I don’t know about that.

  5. Jean Krusinski says:

Is there a code for the $18 price? It seems the offer is $20 on Hunts, not $18. However, it is available here for $18 – on the LightBox site: http://lightbox-photography-cards.myshopify.com/products/lightbox-photography-cards-combo-special

I, too, am interested in a bit of inspiration, but do not see the $18 option. I used the link, too.

    • Mike Moats says:

I just replaced the red link with a new corrected red link to click on. When you get to the page scroll down and you will see the price of $20 with a $18 price below.

  7. gspeakpei says:

The emailed post doesn’t have the link in red. The online post does, but unfortunately when clicked it still takes me to the regular price. And there’s no mention of free shipping in the US that I can see.

    • Mike Moats says:

If it doesn’t work in you email, then go to the post on the blog stie, it works there. They ship everything for free in the US, so you will get the free shipping when you purchase.

  8. Jan Kies says:

Hey Mike…same story…used the red link on your blog but still no $2.00 discount. Is there a promo code we can use?

    • Mike Moats says:

Jan, are you trying to buy the two sets, that’s what the discount is for. I’ll check with hunt’s and see if everything is working ok.

      • Jan Kies says:

Mike…yes, I was trying to buy the 2 set bundle that’s listed for $20.00…thinking it would then be discounted to $18.00. Either way, with the free shipping, it’s still a good deal, but I’ll wait ’til I hear back from you before I place my order. Thanks.

      • Mike Moats says:

Ok they gave me a new link that shows the promo price. Clink on the new red link.
