I’m a Bird Photographer Now

Posted: July 20, 2016 in Uncategorized
Just kidding, not gonna be a bird photographer, love to watch them at the bird feeder, but no desire to photograph them on a regular basis. I haven’t been able to get out and shoot the new 150-600 lens from Tamron yet, with last weekends NECCC photo conference, and then taking care of business stuff the last couple days, so I set it up on my back porch and photographed this tip of a spruce tree where the sparrows like to land.  Nikon D7000, Tamron 150-600, F/8.
Looking forward to getting this lens out in the field to shoot some damselflies, frogs, turtles.

We’ll have to get you a gimbal head for your long lens and you may be a bird photographer before you know it. The gimbal should also work well for close ups with any lens with a collar.
