I do a lot of shooting in swampy areas with lots of mosquitoes and the product I use is Repel.  It does have 40% deet which is a good amount of the repellent, and for some deet can be a problem so may not be good for everyone, but works great for me.  It’s small and compact, fits in a small area of your pack, and spays on when you need it. Warning Deet can damage plastic on cameras, so wipe off of hands before handing your camera.

HI Mike, An FYI on mosquito repellents. Lemon oil/Eucalyptus sprays work equally as well as DEET in recent tests by Consumer Reports ( July 2016 /Top Pick Repel brand Lemon Oil Eucalyptus) and have no DEET or other toxic agents. I have used it for several years with excellent success on butterfly count field trips etc, and used it even before the big name brands started making it too. The pleasant Eucalyptus aroma is strong initially, but dissipates in a relatively short time. Easy to buy online, Walmart, CVS etc. Environmentally good too. Best, Michael O’Brien Valley Head, AL
