Love the Vanguard Products

Posted: June 5, 2016 in Uncategorized
I’m always looking to help out my macro workshop students and followers with tips on equipment that gets the job done and not breaking the bank account.  So one company that I feel makes good quality products at affordably prices is Vanguard.
The tripod I use that will get my camera into all kinds of odd positions, which happens a lot in macro, is the Vanguard Alta Pro 263AT. If you are not looking to spend a fortune on a ballhead you can top this tripod off with a Vanguard SB100 ballhead and have a great set up. You can pick up this combo at Hunt’s Photo for only $199.

For carrying my equipment my first choice is the the Vanguard Up-Rise II 45 Photo Backpack and costs only $129.95 at Hunt’s Photo.
