Found Red Trillium

Posted: May 3, 2016 in Uncategorized
When I was teaching my Macro Boot Camp in New Hampshire, local meet-up group organizer Lisa Lacassie took me to Kilowatt Park.  We found Red Trillium flowers blooming which I’ve never seen in the woods, as in my area parks at home I have only seen the White Trillium.  I didn’t want to just shoot the typical straight on boring shot so came up with a little different look with this bud lying on the leaf. It was sunny so used my 12″ diffuser to soften the harsh light.   Did a slight painting feel in Smart Photo Editor.
