Macro Conference 2016

Posted: October 27, 2015 in Uncategorized
Already can’t wait until next years Macro Photo Conference in Seekonk, MA. Speakers so far are me of course. Tony Sweet, author of three books on macro/close-up photography, and will be showing off his great post processing techniques. Rob Sheppard, former longtime editor of Outdoor Photographer Magazine and author of many photography books, with one on macro. Don Komarechka from Canada, and his amazing snowflake and water drop photography. Donna Eaton and her amazing flower photography, who also is a co-workshop leader with our past speaker Kathleen Clemons. Just landed Kathy Adams Clark, who is past president of the North America Nature Photographers Association, runs the stock agency KAC Productions that represents the work of 15 photographers. Kathy’s photos have been published in hundreds of places including AAA Journey, Nature’s Best, New York Times, Birder’s World, and Ranger Rick. Texas Parks & Wildlife and Texas Highways magazines have used Kathy’s photos on their cover. She will present on her butterfly photography and getting your images published.
So we will expand on the macro subject mater this year covering the most popular flower photography, but also new things like snowflakes, waterdrops, non nature subjects, butterflies, bugs, and the all important post processing.  Maybe we can also have Rob Sheppard and Kathy Adams Clark a Q&A  about getting your images published.
Next years dates will be October 29th and 30th, held again in Seekonk, MA, near Providence,RI.
It will be again limited to 100 participants, and sign up should happen sometime in February. Sold out the first two years and expect a quick sell out in 2016.
