May Apples

Posted: June 1, 2015 in Uncategorized
May Apples are very cool plants. When fully grown these plants are about 15 inches across and look just like an open umbrella. They have one white flower that opens under the umbrella. I’ll show you the white flower when they start to open.
Here is my set up shooting the newly emerging May Apples.

Here’s a few of the May Apple leaves. I processed them all with the Solarization Filter in Color Efex Pro. Then went into Nik’s Viveza 2 and used the Structure slider to make the details really pop.

Don’t miss out on this great photo conference with 8 speakers held in Seekonk, Massachusetts, October 10th,11th.
Hands on shooting sessions.
