Diffraction and High F/Stop Numbers

For those of you that have been told never shoot at high f/stop number because of diffraction watch this video.

    The comment I get when I shoot at a high f stop is that it won’t be as sharp as if I shot at the sweet spot/f stop. But, if I shoot at a lower f stop, less is in focus. Can you comment?

    Anita, the answer to your problem is in this video. Shoot the high f-stops and use the sharpening to cure the softness. I do it all the time, and have no problem shooting f/32. click the arrow in the images to see the video.
