I was out scouting for shooting sites for my upcoming fall field workshops at stoney creek, and the cool temps felt like the start of fall. Signs of fall are starting as I found a large group of fallen acorns that the deer haven’t had a chance to eat yet.

I would like to introduce myself, I am Mike Moats, an award winning, professional Nature Photographer from Sterling Heights, Michigan. I started shooting as a hobby in 2001 and it quickly grew into a full time business.
