Have A Great Labor Day

Continuing on my beach scenes for the holiday weekend.  This was an idea I got from Ken Robb who is a photographer friend from Pennsylvania.   I bought the star fish at a local shell shop in St Augustine, Florida. Went down to the beach in the morning and placed the starfish in a place where the water would pass over top of the starfish, and then shoot at variable shutter speed trying to get a silky look in the water but still show a good portion of the starfish.  Camera setting at f/32 at 1/13 of a second.

Looks like it just washed up from the sea.

  2. Beautiful and a good idea (as usual).
