Sea Shells by the Sea Shore

I was spending time down in St Augustine Florida, which is the oldest city in America, and got a chance to explore the beautiful beaches.  At Anastasia Beach there was an area where thousands of sea shells had washed ashore and it was fun searching out artistic compositions. Rather then shooting the typical shot of shells just lying on top of the sand, I was looking for something a little more interesting and I liked this group where the sand is starting to suck them down into the earth exposing just the edges of the shells.

I’ve seen this sort of thing many times at the beach, but never stopped to see the art right before my eyes. I need to slow down and use my photographer’s eye to notice what is right around me. That’s one of the reasons l enjoy your posts! Thank you for sharing your experiences.
