The mushrooms are starting to or going to start to pop in the wooded areas where you find old dead trees.

You will find different types of shrooms and many times you have to find them before the critters do, because  deer like to munch on them in my areas.

Here’s is a little family that is growing from a standing dead tree trunk.

I never found the tops of mushrooms to be all that interesting, so if you can position your camera to shoot the underside, it is much more interesting.
