Some photographers may have a space in there home where they have set up a small studio to shoot their macro subjects. Mine can be anywhere from the stairs in my front foyer for late afternoon light, to the windows at the back of the house facing east morning light. I brought some flowers home from the local florist and my wife’s watering can was sitting on the kitchen counter, so I stuck them in the can, rather then look for a vase. I watched them for a couple days and liked how two of the flowers had bent over with the heads facing downward. Rather then move the watering can, I just set up my camera right there and shot them.
I had an earlier post about using a LED Light for my indoor lighting. As you can see I just hand hold it in position. I can work the light around the subject until I see what I like and then start shooting.

This is the great thing about macro you can shoot it anywhere.
And here is the image I was shooting.
