About
I would like to introduce myself, I am Mike Moats, an award winning, professional Nature Photographer from Sterling Heights, Michigan. I started shooting as a hobby in 2001 and it quickly grew into a full time business. To date I’ve had articles and images published in, Outdoor Photographer Magazine, Natures Best Magazine, Nature Photographer Magazine, Photolife, Whisper In The Woods,Michigan Game Finder, NANPA’s Expressions Books, Pure Michigan Book, Fujifilms Newsletter (Cable Release) and Tamron’s “Angle of View” Blog. Congrats, Mike – well deserved!
I just started re-reading the Macro Workshop e-book – looking forward to putting its lessons to use! (I just purchased a Sigma 150mm 2.8 Macro lens to replace my Canon 100mm 2.8 Macro, which was too short for my 5D MkII. I hadn’t considered the Sigma before, but I figured if Sigma was good enough for you… ;^D )
