Snail On Skunk Cabbage
My first day out shooting this spring. The skunk cabbage leaves are starting to sprout. I found this old snail’s shell, and thought it would be a nice contrasting subject for this skunk cabbage leaf.
About
I would like to introduce myself, I am Mike Moats, a professional Nature Photographer from Sterling Heights, Michigan. I started in photography as a hobby seven short years ago (2001) and it quickly grew into a full time business. To date I’ve had articles and images published in, Outdoor Photographer Magazine, Nature Photographer Magazine, Nature’s Best, Whisper In The Woods, Photolife, Michigan Game Finder, NANPA’s 2007 & 2008 Expression Book, and Fujifilms Newsletter (Cable Release), and Calenders. I’m proud to have won numerous international and local awards, and in 2006 was asked to join the Fuji Pro Talent Team, and in 2008 I became a moderator of the macro/flora catogory at Birdphotographers.Net. In 2006 I started Close-Up/Macro Photography Workshops, which went very well, and I’m expanding to add more workshops and clinics.
